Booking, paperwork and travel

Everything we are asked most often. If your question is not answered here, ask us directly.

Booking and pricing

  • Two to three weeks is comfortable for most domestic and regional routes. Long-haul destinations needing import permits can take six weeks or more, so contact us as early as you can and we will tell you the real lead time for your route.

Paperwork and customs

  • Most routes need a microchip, a rabies vaccination inside the valid window, and an animal health certificate. Destinations further afield often add an import permit and a blood titre test. We confirm the exact list for your route in writing before you book.

Travel conditions

  • In an IATA-compliant crate sized so they can stand, turn and lie down naturally, in a climate-controlled vehicle or an approved hold. We deliver the crate ahead of travel so it is familiar by the day.
